At Kidtopia, we want your little ones to love their new toys! If something isn't quite right, our exchange and return process is designed to be as stress-free as possible for busy parents.

30-Day Window

You have a full 30 days from the date of purchase to initiate an exchange or return.

What Can't Return

Personalized items, gift cards, and sale products cannot be exchanged or returned.

Unused Condition

Items must be in their original, unopened packaging with all tags and parts intact.

Easy Refunds

Refunds are paid back to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.

Easy Exchanges & Returns

At Kidtopia, we want your little ones to love every toy. If something’s not quite right, we've made our South African return process as simple as ABC.

Step 1: Check the Tag (and the Clock)

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and with all Kidtopia tags still attached. Please note that personalized toys and hygiene-sensitive items (like opened beauty products) aren't eligible for return.

Step 2: Reach Out to the Team

Ready to start? Simply email support@kidtopia.co.za or send us a WhatsApp with your order number. Let us know if you'd like an exchange for a different item or a full refund. We'll guide you through the collection process right from your doorstep anywhere in SA.

Step 3: Pack with Love & Get Paid

Once we receive your item back at our warehouse, we'll check it over to make sure it's ready for another home. Refunds are processed within 5-7 working days via your original payment method. For EFT payments, we'll reach out for your South African banking details to ensure a safe transfer.

How long do I have to return an item?

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return or exchange any item. Please ensure you have your proof of purchase (receipt or order number) ready.

What can I return and in what condition?

Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition you received them. Please note that personalized toys, custom costumes, and opened hygiene products cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

What if my item is faulty or damaged?

If a toy arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing fault, we will gladly arrange a collection and provide a full replacement or refund at no extra cost to you.

How are refunds paid?

Refunds are processed back to your original payment method (Credit Card, EFT, etc.) within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect your item.
